Change the XP registered Owner
Change Registered Owner

To change the Registered Owner of your copy of Windows XP :

1. Go to Start / run / and type regedit.

2. navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS NT\CURRENT VERSION

3. From there under the "Registered owner" entry you can alter the name.
