Lets backup your drivers

I'm sure every computer user at one time or another wished they had some way to backup their drivers before installing an application or reformatting their system. Well I have good news for you. We have developed an application for just that. Driver backup is a free application that couldn't be more simple. Double click  on the batch file and click any key on the keyboard. That's it.

The application will first create a folder in "My Documents" called driverbackup. When the batch file completes, the folder will be filled with your systems driver files. At this time it would be a very wise idea to burn that folder and its contents to disk. Save the disk in a safe place for future reference.

How To reinstall the driver files
Lets say you just reformatted your computer and some things aren't working as they should. Maybe you cannot get online, printer doesn't work or whatever. Check in device manager as shown below.

Now you see that the sound driver are not installed. What you do at this point is highlight the PCI Multimedia device then click Properties. Select "Update Driver" then for the location of the driver file you need to set it to the driver backup folder either in "MY Documents" or on the cd you should have burned. Reboot after the install and voila. For further Support please visit CyberAnswers support forums.
